So, I’ve had a really crappy week. My black cloud came back and we’ve had an uptick in trauma and codes on my shifts :( I might be jumping the gun, since Friday is just starting but I’m feeling like this upcoming week is going to be good. (Better at least.) Anyway, I’m posting a list of all the good things that happened this last week. Hopefully seeing the list will brighten things up.
- Being stopped on the street and thanked by a patient.
- No dead kids (I really wish I didn’t have to list that…)
- Successful intubation on the first attempt. (Even if the rest of the call was absolute crap)

- Bunny Bennett being an amazing artist, performer, and person. (He gives me hope for humanity, which has been in short supply as of late.)
- People pulling over for the ambulance while I’m driving emergency.
- Dancing with Bear to Honeybee by Steam Powered Giraffe.
- SPG’s new album.
- Old family videos. (Dad caught one of my sisters picking her nose and I laughed like a hyena)
- 100% success on IV’s.
- The Clawful bust is 95% done.
- Bear laughing so hard he starts snorting.
- Awesomebad horror movies. (Black Sheep why are you so amazing?)
- Puppies! (They’re getting big so fast!)
- Tomato plants. (First garden ever)
- Job interviews,
- Driving down the highway singing Prince songs in G1 TF voices.
- Amazing firefighters who put up with my mess on codes.

- Watching The Lion King for the first time in 10 years.

- My brother getting pepper sprayed for his police training and posting the pictures to facebook.
- My brother’s girlfriend posting pictures of him in a coconut bra to facebook. (Can we say blackmail?)
- Going through mom’s art prints and finding a signed Salvador Dali artist proof.
- Properly folded spider straps.
- Safe extrication’s. (No one hurt themselves this time around)
